Can my camper bring their devices (insulin pumps, phones, CGM receiver, personal delivery devices, etc.)?
We do allow campers who are pumping to bring their pumps as it’s their form of insulin delivery. Continuous Glucose Monitors (CGMs) may also be worn. If your child has a CGM that does not connect to a pump you may send the phone or receiver with them. We are not responsible for lost items. Please mark all devices clearly with your camper’s name prior to your arrival to camp. It will be given to your child’s staff nurse who will carry it throughout the day. We encourage you to turn off sharing during camp hours to allow yourself a break. All the campers are closely monitored by the counselors and medical team throughout the day.
