Christy Lens | PA-C, Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE)

Christy Lens is part of the Camp Hot Shots medical staff. Prior to that she was a camp counselor. Having been diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes herself at a young age, Christy found camp to be her best support system. She learned how to not let diabetes hold her back. She is honored to have the opportunity to give back to the diabetes community through Camp Hot Shots. She hopes she can educate and support the campers as they learn to live with diabetes. When Christy is not at camp, she is working as a Physician Assistant at the Children’s Endocrinology and Diabetes clinic and spending time with her husband and taking her dog Lily for walks.
