Sarah Richardson, Counselor

My name is Sarah Richardson and I have been involved with Camp Hot Shots as a volunteer counselor since 2014 and a member of the board of directors since 2017. In 2018, I graduated from the University of Nebraska Omaha with a Bachelor of Science Degree with a concentration in Exercise Science as well as a minor in Psychology. I am currently a Special Education Paraprofessional at an elementary school in La Vista, NE. Being a part of the Camp Hot Shots team has been an amazing opportunity and I am so excited to continue for many years to come. Camp is my favorite time of the year to be able to encourage young campers to take charge in managing their diabetes while having fun along the way.
